Trattoria Pedun dates back 30 years already, and owns its name to Mr. “Pedun” who started the business under this funny nickname, given to him as a partisan during the second world war.
Mara and Ilaria, respectively Pedun’s daughter and grand-daughter, continue the tradition of the Trattoria preserving the style of a homey village restaurant and the local cuisine.
Home baked bread , focaccia and cakes, home made pasta and more are still the distinctive recepies which characterize the menu proposed by Mara. The vegetables come directly from the garden at the back of the trattoria, and local breeding meats and game are a must in Mara’s cooking.
Mara, in fact, is the magician of this trattoria, she indulges with her own culinary imagination although sticking to the every day ingredients, revealing thus her talent in creating new dishes and savours without quitting the traditions.
